This 1095 carbon steel Chef knife has been fully hand forged in Scotland.  Totally unique and even features a cloudy hamon line on the steel where the harder steel meets the soft.  This is down to the manner in qhich it was quenched. You will struggle finding a hand made sgian dubh fitted up with an unusual native wood.  The 1095 carbon steel blade has been hand forged in Scotland with minor texturing from the forge.  Fitted with Gorse (sourced from Broxburn, Scotland) and an Americn walnut bolster which was rescued from a woodworkers scrap bin as it was far too nice to waste The leafshape blade is mimicked in the shape of the grip which gives it a lovely natural feel as it rests in your hand Complete with hand stitched brown leather sheath made from Scottish deer hide - what could possibly be more unique than a hand made piece with traceable materials!   Blade Length 3.25" Overall length approx 7"

Inspired by both a glaive and the Faussart sword from the Maciejowski (Morgan) bible with a primeval and fantasy flair when it comes to the hilt. Hand forged from 1075 carbon steel, this robust blade has a nice curve and tapering point.  Acid-washed finish for a forced patina. Ever wondered if you can have mushroom on your sgian dubh?  The answer is yes! This piece was hand forged from 1095/15n20 san-mai (3 layer) steel & fitted with resin stabilised Elm, dyed & stabilised Polypore Mushroom and Masur Birch front bolster.  This is a unique knife and one that holds more flair than it first appears.  Perfect for those who like nicely made things but without too much sparkle Decorative filework on the spine of the blade was also done by hand   Complete with hand stitched Scottish salmon skin leather which gives an absolutely unique look!  The salmon leather, with it being thinner, has been backed with calf skin leather   Blade Length 3.5" Overall length 7.3"
